What’s Causing Your Back Pain?

 

Lower back pain will effect 85-90% of us at some time in our lives.  The pain can come from a number of causes and various structures (nerves, joints, discs, muscles) of the spine.

 

Muscle pain:  This type of pain is often caused by an overuse or overstretching activity.  This type of back pain will usually improve with ice therapy and rest.  Pain should decrease over a few days to two weeks. 

 

Joint Pain:  Pain coming from joints in the lower spine can be the result of osteo-arthritis or a subluxated (misaligned) joint.

 

Arthritis joint pain will usually feel better with activity while a subluxated joint will often be painful with movement.

 

Disc Pain:  Disc-type pain can come from an inflamed disc (discitis) or a bulging/herniated pressing on sensitive nerve tissues.  This type of pain may or may not be relieved by rest , but is often worsened by movement.

 

Whatever type of back pain you experience, see you spine specialist for help if the pain lasts for than several days, worsens or causes bladder/bowel incontinence.

An Auto Title Loan Is A Helping Hand

My daughter is away at college, and I miss her dearly. In fact some days I just call her to hear her voice and make sure she is okay. She called the other morning in a panic, her car would not start and she did not have the cash to get it fixed let alone get it towed to the mechanic.
