Keep Them Happy and Occupied

February 15th, 2010 by admin

Recently my son was home sick from school for several days.  He is young and doesn’t get homework in class but he does enjoy the classwork.  As he was beginning to feel better but still to ill to return to school I wanted to find something that would keep him happy and occupied that didn’t require any physical activity.  Like most young children he likes to draw and color so I went online in my search.  I found the perfect solution when I came across dozens of very cute coloring pages to print.  I printed several out and put them in a binder. I bought him a new big box of crayons and he was very happy.

The lessons I found on the web

February 11th, 2010 by admin

Last night I was on YouTube trying to find a couple of the songs that were played during my wedding. I guess I’m just sort of this nostalgic kind of guy. I eventually found one of the songs I was looking for and played it. In the comments section of the video there was a link that directed me to a website that offered classical guitar lessons. I have always considered taking guitar lessons. For the past three years I have been going to school full-time and working full-time. I suppose this is the primary reason why I didn’t take any lessons back then.

Our Local Craft Fair

February 4th, 2010 by admin

For the last six years, we have gone to the Seasonal Craft Fair held by the Scouts in our local community center. A lot of people benefit from entering the event and several might purchase some of the beautiful handmade crafts which are on offer by numerous traders. My young sister and I made a decision that we would participate this season and take along several of our handmade efforts to sell. Firstly we had to buy enough craft materials to get our items available for the Fair. We thought we would make various dissimilar products like Seasonal Ornaments and snowmen. We thought that it maybe better to obtain our Craft Supplies online since it generally cheaper doing this. Here is dreaming about a highly lucrative craft fayre!

Is it Safe to Use Ares?

January 19th, 2010 by admin

I have a lot of friends that use file sharing programs in order to get music and movies for free. I wouldn’t mind doing the same, but I don’t want to risk my computer getting messed up. Is it safe to use Ares? I want to make sure that before I get an Ares download I do what I can in order to keep my computer safe. I also don’t want to risk getting into any trouble with the law, so I need to check out the legality of doing this. I have heard that people get in trouble sometimes for sharing files like this.

My Nephews New Acoustic Guitar Course

January 16th, 2010 by admin

I have a nephew that is staying at my house for a couple days. He brought his acoustic guitar with him, but he doesn’t know how to play. So naturally, being the good Uncle I am, I went out and bought him an acoustic guitar course complete with DVDs and everything. Now he sits in front of the TV all day and practices playing all kinds of different songs. He was playing Stairway to Heaven the other day, which is surprising, seeing as how he is only six years old. I can’t imagine how well he will be able to play when he is in his twenties and thirties. He’ll likely be a famous rock star.

Looking for a Photographer in Houston

January 10th, 2010 by admin

I am an up and coming jewelry maker, who is looking to market my jewelry to boutiques across the United States of America.  I am looking for a Houston Photographer that has experience in jewelry photography.  I need someone who has a studio that I can bring my items to, as perfect lighting is extremely important to me.  I also need someone who communicates well, and will keep me continually up-to-date with my project.  Experience is key as well.  I need to hire someone with years of experience, as this project is of the utmost importance to my business.  I am unable to travel to boutiques across the country, so for a lot of my business leads, these pictures will truly be worth a thousand words.
