Upgrading my Sunforce wind generator
February 27th, 2010 by admin
I’ve had the 400 watt Sunforce wind generator for about a year now and I am totally happy with it. You have to buy the batteries and the tower extra, but how can you complain when you’re saving money on your electric bill? I have been seriously considering going totally independent if I can and so I’m looking at ways to use solar panels and a bigger wind turbine system for my home. Right now I’m just using the Sunforce for odd things around the house, like battery charging and some stuff I do out in the garage. But I am really jazzed about trying to have a self-contained power system so I can get off the grid. We’ll see if that works, but I will definitely be looking to Sunforce for some more help.
