As a Blood Technician I Wear Powdered Latex Gloves All Day

I wear gloves all the time in my job collecting blood samples at our hospital. It is a very important safety precaution that my skin does not touch contaminated blood. The only problem is that I have really large hands, and the gloves are usually difficult to put on easily, especially when I am in a hurry. My solution has been to put in a requisition for powdered latex gloves. What a difference they make. I can easily slide my hands into them without pulling and tugging. They go on much quicker too. Wearing these specially treated gloves is a little thing, but it makes my job more enjoyable just the same.
