Scotland for Sports Tours
January 16th, 2010 by admin
The new course will provide a nice contrast to the historic courses that you will want to add to your golf tour that are located in nearby Scotland. The southwest coast is an excellent place to start your trip back in time. Historic links courses like Royal Troon and Prestwick should definitely be on any sports tours itinerary. There are over 100 other courses in the area that are not as well known but still well worth playing and your tour operator can recommend which ones work best for you. A trip across Scotland to the other coast will bring you to Saint Andrews which is the home of golf. Saint Andrews is to golf what the Vatican is to Catholics.
